Sydney local turned Los Angeles resident Felix Bloxsom AKA Plastic Plates, released his inaugural record with Sweat It Out. Making the transition from sub-label Club Sweat with previous releases ‘Nothing Like You’ and the aptly named ‘Sweat’ becoming family faves.

From jazz musician to drummer to producer, Felix is a musician with talent across multiple facets, which translates perfectly within his production as Plastic Plates. He has become one of the most prolific Australian producers with a resume boasting a myriad of artists across a range of genres. In recent years on remix duties for The Magician, Mark Ronson, The Human League, Para One, Sia, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and a stack from within the Sweat fam itself including Cassian, Yates, Indian Summer, and What So Not.

The forthcoming single ‘Leave A Light On’ features the vocalist of Toronto trio Dragonette, who shot to fame with the international dance music classic ‘Hello’ alongside Martin Solvieg. Having met frontwoman Martina Sorbera back in 2012 whilst producing a track from their ‘Bodyparts’ record, they were excited to get back in the studio to collaborate once again. Managing to underline Martina’s sultry vocals Plastic Plates effortlessly blends their synth-pop sensibility together with his up-tempo house /nu-disco signature sound.
